After completely rewriting ENUMPlus from the ground up (2 days total) we have come much closer to a universal ENUM lookup source. The new module can be downloaded here so install it now! Here’s why :
- The module forms a HTTP request to our API which queries many other sources and returns the most accurate address.
- There is no longer a need to add multiple lookup sources to the old enumlookup AGI.
- It audibly notifies you when the call is made over ENUM.
- You can track your calls in the panel.
- White pages / search functionality (including avatars
) - Call validation is much more stable.

question about sip setting on the management page. I have a PRI number 901-369-1400
Would my sip setting be 19013691400@ipaddress?
or do I just put my ip address there?
You would have to either allow anonymous inbound SIP calls in your FreepBX general settings page – or forward the SIP URI to a third party proxy like Gizmo.
Thanks for the comment / question.
yes I allow anonymous on e164.org the setup was put in did and then put in the sip address which was just my ip address. I tried putting in 19013691402@64.132.116.3, 64.132.116.3 sip://19013691402@64.132.116.3
sip://64.132.116.3 but none can ring the phone on a uri test. Just putting in my ip works on e164.org so I wanted to know what is the correct syntax it is looking for.
figured it out sip/1400@64.132.116.3 looks like you need a sip/ in front and since my provider passes the last 4 digits this worked.
I’m trying to add a second number and keep getting a bad number format error.
Any ideas?
Been getting timeouts for days… any updates?
We moved to a new box in Cali that was running great until an infrastructure upgrade… we should be back up 100% tomorrow (Sunday April 25)
The validation should help you out with that – I have prepended sip/ to all non conforming routes.
Still getting timeouts with a “direct vanilla” approach. Any thoughts?
Leif Madsen wrote that dial plan – apparently it was working wonders for him. Look for him at #vuc (He is the Author of “Asterisk : The Future of Telephony” so he should have a fix). My dial plan skills are a little rusty.
Hi,
Looking for help. I am trying to add a number but I must be doing something wrong.
I use standard numbering format +34XXXXXX and tried the the sip account user@sip.provider.com
I keep on getting number format error, I have tried adding sip/ to my voip account and changing +34 for 0034 but still no be able to add the number.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Unfortunately we’re still only capable of validating north american numbers. Send me an email with your DID and I will have you all set up.
My apologies – I just cant afford to terminate overseas calls.

Hi Again,
Not to worry about it, in future, if you are able to validate international DIDs I will validate mine.
The other solution I will try is to add my USAs numbers that I have with SIP providers. This could work for other users.
On the other hand, don’t know if possible due to technical work or other matters, it would be nice to able to validate enum numbers.
I have some +882 numbers from i164.org and I am trying to export those to enum.org and others enum providers.
Many thanks,
P.D. I must say that I am learning about enum and 164.arpa, etc and have lots to learn.
